Established in 2011, M-Tech specialises in designing and manufacturing smart gas meters and metering systems. Incorporating the MEMS technology, M-Tech has developed a new generation of gas meters which will not be affected by the gas temperature and pressure, and the flow rate adjusts automatically according to different air pressure and temperature. It can also distinguish different types of gas and meet with the international as well as national standards, thus providing a more accurate meter reading.
M-Tech owns the intellectual property rights and various patents of MEMS mass flow sensing technology. In addition, M-Tech is actively involved in the research and application of MEMS technology, especially in flow measurement and control, and set up a R&D Centre in the United States. Furthermore, M-Tech launched a new residential gas meter with Near Field Communication (NFC), complying with the grading gas fee calculation on the mainland.
As an industry pioneer, M-Tech upholds innovations and keeps up with the times. Apart from MEMS and NFC technology, it has launched an advanced narrow-band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) smart gas meter. In 2020, the application of NB-IoT technology has been applied to residential and commercial smart gas meters. With the features of high security, high coverage and low cost, NB-IoT smart gas meter creates smart living experience for customers.
