The meter station (meter interface unit) records and manages meter readings. Meter data from different premises are converted into radio frequency signals which are transmitted along the gas pipe to different floors through a self-developed compact antenna. Signals are then picked up, every seven floors, through another antenna and transmitted to a data transit station. These data transit stations are linked to a base station where all data are fed back to our headquarters through the local telephone network for billing purposes.
