Driven by the country’s “dual carbon” goals, there is a surge in demand for renewable energy on the Chinese mainland, leading to rapid market growth. By focusing on three key directives—integration, decarbonisation, and digitalisation—Towngas Smart Energy, the Group’s subsidiary, has actively developed renewable energy projects that boost business growth, drive the industry’s low-carbon transition, and contribute to the country’s journey towards carbon neutrality.
Our one-stop integrated energy solutions include distributed photovoltaics (PV), energy storage, battery charging and swapping stations, multi-source energy supply, and other energy infrastructure. Additionally, we offer smart value-added services such as energy efficiency and carbon management, virtual power plants, and green power trading. With our Smart Energy Ecosystem Platform, we foster the development of zero-carbon smart industrial parks and low-carbon factories and facilitate businesses to implement effective ESG management.
In 2025, our renewable energy business covered 25 provincial-level regions across the Chinese mainland, with our grid-connected capacity of distributed photovoltaics reaching 2.8 GW and electricity generation amounting to 2.48 billion kWh. Commercial and industrial energy storage contracts amounted to 1.041 million kWh, and electricity sales volume reached 8.4 billion kWh.
Our customer base covers various industries, including eight major emission-control industries such as petrochemical, building materials and non-ferrous metals, etc., serving both private companies as well as large-scale central and state-owned enterprises.
Building on our photovoltaic customer base, we leverage our unique smart microgrid technologies and products to expand our “Energy as a Service” projects. Our customers thus enjoy one-stop energy management services that integrate “photovoltaics + energy storage + electricity sales” facilities.
