National Association of Vocational Education of China visits Towngas for in-depth discussion on vocational training

 (23 December 2024) Representatives from the National Association of Vocational Education of China, the Chinese Occupational Education Association of Hong Kong, Guangdong Construction Polytechnic, Vocational Training Council - Youth College, and Edvantage Group recently visited The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) to learn about school-enterprise integration and industry-education collaboration, exchanging views on strengthening vocational education across Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.
 
The delegation toured the training facilities at the Towngas Training Institute (TTI), where Towngas representatives highlighted the Group’s achievements and future plans in technical training and industry-education collaboration across Hong Kong and mainland operations. The visitors praised Towngas's commitment and achievements in the field of vocational education and were deeply impressed by TTI’s comprehensive training framework.
 
The guests also visited the Hall of Innovation and Hall of Future Energy, showing keen interest in Towngas’s innovative developments driven by employee research and development, as well as Towngas’s vision for future energy solutions.
 
Mr Lam Ming-wing, Chief HR Officer of Towngas, thanked the delegation for their visit and said, “This visit and exchange will help promote mutual progress and development in vocational training and development, with far-reaching significance for strengthening talent cultivation in the industry.” Both parties agreed to maintain close contact and explore future collaborative opportunities, working together to advance vocational education.
