A: The Programme is free of charge. However, participating schools are responsible for students’ transport expenses during activities, as well as any miscellaneous costs incurred from on-campus activities.
A: The school talks are primarily tailored for upper primary students (P4–P6). However, lower primary students are also welcome to join, and the content will be adjusted to suit the audience. The sessions are mainly conducted in Cantonese. Should schools prefer delivery in English, please reach out to us, and special arrangements will be made accordingly.
A: The sponsorship is awarded to a maximum of 20 schools each school year on a first-come, first-served basis. It aims to empower schools to enhance education in environmental protection, STEAM, and energy science. Please note that schools that have previously received funding under this Programme are not eligible.
A: Upon rejoining the Programme, schools that have previously received the learning card sets and board games will not be issued duplicate sets of the same materials. However, newly appointed Green Flame Campus Ambassadors will still receive their relevant participant materials.
A: We strongly encourage schools to participate in all activities to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for students. However, due to varying school calendars, flexibility is provided for schools to select specific activities. For schools unable to commit to the full Programme, individual school talks can also be arranged upon application.
A: Applications for the Programme are open during the summer holiday each year. School talk applications are accepted year-round.
