Bill Payment

You can settle your gas bill through the following payment methods

Bank Autopay

How to apply: If you are a savings or current account holder with any bank in Hong Kong (the bank account holder and the gas account holder can be different), you can apply the autopay via the following ways to settle the gas bill.

Online Application: If you are a Towngas eAccount holder, you can click here and login your eAccount to apply online.

Bank Application: You can download the Autopay Direct Debit Authorization form here (PDF format), complete and return it to your bank or obtain the form from any Customer Centre.

Phone Application: You can call our Customer Service Hotline at 2880 6988, and our Customer Service Officer will arrange the application with your bank.

Note: Generally, bank will take around 4 weeks to process the application.  Once approved, your monthly payment will be debited automatically from your bank account.

Some banks may charge a service fee for handling Autopay applications, please contact your bank for more details.

Credit Card Autopay

How to apply: You can apply Credit Card Autopay if you have one of the following cards.

Towngas Card: You can use Towngas Card to settle gas bill through autopay. Please call our Customer Service Hotline at 2880 6988, and our Customer Service Officer will arrange the credit card autopay application.

*Towngas Card application form is available at any branch of The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA). You may also download the application form here (PDF format), complete and send it by mail for registration with BEA. You may also apply online via BEA's website.

BOC Credit Card: You can use The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOC) Credit Cards to settle gas bill through autopay. Please arrange application with BOC directly.

American Express Card: You can use American Express Card to settle gas bill through autopay. Please arrange application with American Express directly.

For enquiries, please call Cardmember Hotline at the back of your American Express Card.

Online Payment

Faster Payment System (FPS)

You can pay your gas bill via FPS by using the Mobile Banking App to scan the FPS Payment QR code on the gas bill or on the e-bill email.
For details, please contact your bank directly.

Internet Banking Services

Please choose any bank in HK to settle payment online.  For details, please check with your bank, or click here to choose from a list of JETCO member banks.

Towngas Online PPS

Towngas now offer an Internet payment service. If you are a Towngas eAccount holder and have registered a PPS Internet account, just click here to login your Towngas eAccount and settle your gas bill on our website directly.

PPS on Internet/Mobile app

You may open a PPS account at any PPS registration terminal. You can then pay by visiting the PPS Internet Payment Website or download Mobile App.

e-Wallet

AlipayHK

You can pay your gas bill via AlipayHK. Please login the AlipayHK App, select “Public Utility” under “Bill payment”, and then select “Hong Kong & China Gas (Towngas)”. Proceed bill payment after you have registered your gas account number or via "One-time payment". You can check the transaction record under “Transaction History” after completing the payment.

WeChat Pay HK

You can pay your gas bill via WeChat Pay HK. Please login the WeChat App and click “WeChat Pay” function. Select “Gas Bill” under “Utilities” service and proceed bill payment after you have registered your gas account number. You can check the transaction record under “Transactions” after completing the payment.

Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

You can pay gas bill through any ATM with "Bill Payment Service" or "JET Payment" signage.

Payment by Phone (PPS)

For PPS services, please call 180 6041 or 18031. The Towngas Merchant Code is 04.

Cheque Payment

Cheque Deposit Machine

You can pay your gas bill by cheque through “Cheque Deposit Machine” at The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOC). Please make your crossed cheque payable to “The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited” and key in your Towngas account number. You can obtain customer advice with cheque image after the payment transaction.

Cheque by Mail

Please make your crossed cheque payable to "The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited" and send together with the payment stub to G.P.O. Box 134, Hong Kong. Remember to write your Towngas account number on the back of your cheque. Please do not send cash by mail. No receipt will be issued to you for payment made through Cheque by Mail.

e-Cheque

BOC’s Website or Mobile App

You can pay your gas bill by e-Cheque by using “e-Cheque Bill Payment” service at BOC’s website (https://www.bochk.com) or mobile app. Please key in your Towngas account number and upload the file of e-Cheque made payable to “The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited”. 

Please save your transaction record after completion of the e-Cheque upload.

 

Towngas’ Designated Email Address

Please make your e-Cheque payable to “The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited” and send to our designated email address e-Cheque@towngas.com. Remember to include your e-Cheque information and Towngas account number in your email to pay gas bill.

Please do not send post-dated e-Cheque. Send the e-Cheque at least 3 working days before the payment due date. No receipt will be issued to you for payment made through e-Cheque.

You can also pay your gas bill by cheque at TGC Towngas Customer Centres, BEA counter and Post Office.

TGC Towngas Customer Centres

 

We accept payment by cash or cheque at all TGC Towngas Customer Centres. For business hours and locations of our TGC Towngas Customer Centres, please click here or call our Customer Service Hotline at 2880 6988.

Bank Counter Payment (BEA)

 

You can settle by cash or cheque by bringing your gas bill to a counter at any branch of The Bank of East Asia, Limited. Please click here to locate a branch near you.

Convenience Stores

 

You can settle payment in cash at any 7-Eleven, Circle K, VanGO stores, U Select with the gas bill. The maximum cash payment per transaction is HK$5,000. Please keep issued receipt after payment for customers’ record.

Post Office

 

You can pay your gas bill by cash or cheque at any Post Office in Hong Kong (except Mobile Post Offices). For business hours and the location of the Post Office nearest you, you can visit www.hongkongpost.hk.
