“Career in a Nutshell” Programme

Launched in 2018, the “Career in a Nutshell” Programme is a comprehensive student work experience initiative that covers one academic year. The programme is designed to simulate the professional landscape in one’s career and is structured into five key stages: Job Recruitment, On-the-job Training, Star Training, Job Challenge, and Achievement Celebration.
Through a variety of activities including visits, workshops, workplace attachments, community service, and challenging work projects, the programme provides an all-rounded education that fosters the moral, academic, physical, social, aesthetic, and spiritual development of students.
The programme is specifically designed to spark interest in the gas and engineering industries and to build career confidence. After completing the programme, students will gain essential skills and knowledge in workplace communication, project collaboration, and the practical applications of gases in daily life.

"Career in a Nutshell" programme is a student workplace experience programme launched in 2018. It condenses different career stages into a single academic year, including "job recruitment”, "On-the-Job Training", "Star Training", "Job Challenge" and "Achievement Celebration".
The programme provides participants with a "moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic" learning experience through various interactive activities, such as company and facility visits, experiential learning activities, workshops and work challenges, to equip students with the essential qualities in the workplace, and to nurture students’ interest in energy industry.
