(14 November 2025) In support of Senior Citizens’ Day this Sunday (16 November), Towngas is offering a concession for the elderly from that day until 30 November.
During the promotional period, seniors aged 65 or above can enjoy a 10% discount on regular-priced Towngas appliances and household products at any TGC Towngas Customer Centre across Hong Kong (see attached list for locations) by presenting a valid Senior Citizen Card. A ten-month interest-free instalment plan is also available for gas appliance purchases.
For many years, Towngas has been committed to alleviating the financial burden on the elderly and families in need through various initiatives and concessionary schemes. The Company also offers free maintenance services (applicable only to gas appliances distributed by Towngas or its subsidiaries), priority booking for maintenance for seniors, and a complimentary annual safety inspection for gas appliances and tubing.
In recent years, Towngas has been dedicated to enhancing home safety for the elderly through gerontechnology. It previously launched a pilot community gerontechnology project in Sham Shui Po, installing smart controllers for 300 elderly households. Looking ahead, the Company will further promote its gerontechnology products to benefit an even greater number of seniors.
