 (19 January 2025) With the Lunar New Year just around the corner, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) has designed two pairs of Year of the Snake couplets, which will be distributed free of charge at all TGC Towngas Customer Centres (locations listed in the appendix) across Hong Kong starting from 22 January. Members of the public are warmly invited to collect these couplets to welcome the new year with blessings. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
The two pairs of Year of the Snake couplets feature the following phrases:

• 「時運亨通」 (May good fortune flow smoothly)
• 「靈蛇獻瑞」 (The spirited snake brings blessings)
• 「蛇來運轉」 (The snake brings a turn of luck)
• 「豐衣足食」 (Abundance in food and clothing)

 
The couplets are designed in red and gold. Among them, one pair was handwritten by a Towngas staff member, whose calligraphy is bold, vigorous, and full of vitality. The other pair is adorned with snake-themed designs that are both playful and festive, adding a cheerful touch to the new year celebrations.

As the Year of the Snake approaches, Towngas extends its heartfelt wishes to all Hong Kong residents for a year filled with blessings and success in all endeavours!
