Under our gas resources business segment, we coordinate gas procurement across all businesses in order to achieve synergy. Through a three-pronged approach of procurement, transmission and distribution, and storage, we optimise the Group’s gas resource structure and adopt a multi-source strategy in order to ensure stable supply, enhance peak-shaving capacity, reduce costs, and increase profits.

Optimising Gas Supply Chain

To implement independent procurement of imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) and establish a complete process from importation to terminal unloading and downstream distribution.

To expand our self-operated gas resources and strengthen gas infrastructure in strategic locations to increase our storage capacity.

To establish long-term strategic cooperation with PipeChina and the three major national petroleum corporations to secure stable sources of natural gas supply.

Our gas storage facility in Jintan, Changzhou helps bolster the national “West-to-East Gas Pipeline” and “Sichuan-to-East Gas Pipeline” networks’ injection and extraction and enhances emergency peak-shaving capabilities.
