Incubated as an eco-innovation company, EcoCeres, Inc. focuses on the innovative technologies that convert waste-based feedstocks into renewable fuels and green molecules, including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO).
To align with the EU’s climate objectives, it is anticipated that by 2050, at least 70% of aviation fuel used for flights departing from EU airports will be SAF. This highlights significant market growth potential.
EcoCeres is the second largest SAF supplier globally. Its plant in Jiangsu province is the world's first ISCC-CORSIA Plus approved SAF processing facility which fulfils all ISCC sustainability requirements of ecological and social criteria.
In addition to the newly commissioned plant in Malaysia, EcoCeres now enjoys a combined annual production capacity of approximately 770,000 tonnes of renewable fuels (including SAF and HVO).
