Green Leaders Bloc Recruits!
Recently, Towngas sponsored the Conservancy Association’s “Green Leaders Bloc” training programmes to recruit university students who are keen to protect the environment. Through a series of green leadership training programmes, Hong Kong young people are being mobilised to create their own low carbon projects to improve environmental protection in the city.
Details of Green Leaders Bloc:
Recruitment Target: University students who are innovative, conscientious with regard to environmental issues, and have the potential to be green leaders.
Date: Oct 2011 to Feb 2012
Theme: Low Carbon Living Awareness among Hong Kong people
Tasks: Green Leadership Training, Green Projects
(includes: a three-day and two-night Leadership Training Camp, planning green campaigns and serving as interns.)
