Come to join Towngas Low Carbon Action! Green Christmas. Experience the zero emission Christmas lighting
Towngas has launched a Low Carbon Action! Green Christmas Exhibition to promote low carbon lifestyle and encourage the public to celebrate Christmas in a green way. From 25 November 2009 to 3 January 2010, the public is welcome to visit our Green Christmas Exhibition at New World Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui.

The exhibition showcases a zero emission Christmas lighting, three Christmas trees made of nearly 6,000 old CDs, a special Christmas ornament made of used tires and low carbon tips festive floats. The public can also join our low carbon initiative by pledging at the Low Carbon Action! website www.towngas.com/lowcarbonaction on the spot.

Effective December, those who participate in riding bicycles for 15 minutes for the Towngas Christmas lighting will be rewarded a badge and a stamp entitling them a discount on a Low Carbon menu served at Towngas Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui.

At the kick-off ceremony on 24 November, the officiating guests (from left to right) Raymond To, Director & Acting General Manager, KLPS Group Ltd, Edwin Lau, Director of Friends of the Earth (HK), Leung Chun Ying, Non-official Member of the Executive Council Convenor, James Kwan, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Towngas and Charlene Choi (Ah Sa), Towngas Low Carbon Christmas Ambassador rode bicycles to lit up the zero emission Christmas lighting which is powered by human-generated energy by biking and solar energy.

Towngas Low Carbon Christmas Ambassador Charlene Choi sang the new Towngas theme song, Blissful Air, to advocate a low carbon living.
