To celebrate enterprises’ efforts in climate change response and sustainable development, CarbonCare InnoLab and CarbonCare Asia held the CarbonCare® Label presentation ceremony on 14 December, at which Towngas had the honour of once again being awarded the CarbonCare® ESG Label.
The CarbonCare® ESG Label serves to recognise enterprises demonstrating excellence in four ESG reporting areas: board accountability, materiality assessment, KPIs in social aspects, and climate-related actions. The Label not only reflects the latest international trends, but also highlights regulatory requirements and community expectations.
The CarbonCare® ESG Label comprises four levels, with Towngas attaining Level 4, the highest rank, in 2021. This shows the approval enjoyed by Towngas’ superb performance and achievements in terms of carbon reduction and the drive for carbon neutrality, underscoring the Company’s dedication to building a sustainable future.
