Join Hands and Make a Difference -- "Earth Hour Hong Kong 2011"
Towngas would like to ask you to join hands with us and switch your lights off for one hour – in support of Earth Hour, at 8:30pm on 26 March.
Towngas has both sponsored and supported Earth Hour Hong Kong for three consecutive years. Organised by World Wide Fund (WWF) to raise public awareness of the problems of climate change, this one-hour "switching off" of lights is a symbolic pledge to take ongoing and sustainable environmental action for the year ahead.
This year, we are enhancing our commitment to this environmentally-sustainable action, switching off lights at our Tai Po and Ma Tau Kok Plants, North Point Headquarters Building, Customer Centres, Towngas Avenues and Towngas cooking centres. Our 93 city-gas businesses on the Mainland are also mobilising support for this event.
Join "WWF's Earth Hour 2011" and encourage your families, friends and colleagues to take action against climate change. We can make a difference with just this one simple act.
