As part of our efforts to fight against COVID-19 while continuously providing quality service, we have implemented the following measures to safeguard the health of our customers and staff.
Customer centres and service hotline
The opening hours of all Towngas Customer Centres are changed to 10am-7pm (Monday – Saturday) and 11am-7pm (Sunday and public holidays) starting from 13 April. Some centres will be closed until further notice. Centres have been treated with a nano photocatalytic long-acting disinfectant spray. For details of Towngas Customer Centres, please refer to

Effective 1 April, service hours of Towngas Customer Service Hotline 2880 6988 will be changed to between 8 am and 10 pm, Mondays through Sundays. Towngas Emergency Hotline 2880 6999 still maintains 24-hour services. (Last update date: 31 March 2022)
Customers can also seek instant support on general enquiries and make service arrangement through our
eService platform or
virtual assistant. Please download the
Towngas App for a comprehensive range of customer services including opening and closing accounts, instant meter reading, maintenance scheduling, viewing gas bills, purchasing gas appliances and bill payment.
Meter reading service
We have temporarily suspended our meter reading service for residential customers. Please report your meter reading at any time for more accurate billing.

On-site service
We have temporarily suspended our Regular Safety Inspection service while the maintenance and checking services remain unchanged. To minimise the risk of the spread of the novel coronavirus and in line with the government legislation, our company should not arrange personnel to provide service in buildings subjected to Compulsory Testing and ‘restriction-testing declaration’ within 7 days; in any premises with person tested preliminary positive / positive to COVID-19 or under Home Quarantine / Isolation. However, customers are welcome to make an appointment for service after the compulsory testing period or home quarantine/ isolation or 7 days after ‘restriction-testing declaration’. All on-site service staff are equipped with masks, and provided with gloves, shoe covers and protective face shields for use when necessary. Staff members are also required to clean their hands with alcohol-based hand-rub before and after maintenance work.
