Mad Dog Café charitable programme
The annual Mad Dog Café charitable programme was held on 1 March this year. The internal fund-raising event was initiated by Towngas Managing Director Alfred Chan, who together with our colleagues from Managing Director Office to prepare tasty food to raise fund for Towngas Smart Electrical Toilet Washlets for the Elderly programme. Furthermore, Mr Chan made matching contributions based on the amount our employees donated, and the Company also made matching contributions based on the final amount donated.
This year, over HK$330,000 was raised through our Mad Dog Café programme which helps to install smart electrical toilet washlets in elderly hostels to enhance the ability of the elderly to take care of themselves and reduce the workload of nursing staff.
