Sponsoring Conservancy Association's "Tree for Life 2009 Collage Competition"
Commencing in October, Towngas has sponsored the Conservancy Association's "Tree for Life 2009" environmental education programme to spread out the messages of nurturing trees and loving all beings in our next generations. About 300 students from nine kindergartens and eight primary schools, accompanied with their parents, participated in the "Tree for Life" collage competition and the outdoor experiencing activity on Oct 31 at Kowloon Park, further enhancing their knowledge about trees. In this activity, participants were motivated to express their affection for the trees with their creativity through a total of 70 drawing collages with leaves collected at the park.
The prize presentation ceremony will be held on Nov 14. Drawing collages will be exhibited at the following spots:
Nov 14 to 16 - Kowloon Park Arcade
Nov 21 and 22 - Olympian City 2
For details of this activity, please refer to the Conservancy Association website.

A tree tour is organised for the kindergarten and primpary school students before the collage competition.
