Towngas has been selected by the Association for Talent Development (ATD) as one of the winners of its Excellence in Practice Award 2021-2022, with the winning project named “G = i × i Cultural Transformation”. This triumph is an international recognition of the corporate culture at Towngas, in which all employees are empowered to innovate independently and create value.
The idea of “G = i × i” (Growth = innovation × implementation) was first introduced by Mr Alfred Chan Wing-kin, the Managing Director of Towngas, referring to the training of staff to develop their abilities in innovation and execution.
The ATD is an international association focusing on talent development. The Association hosts the Excellence in Practice Awards to recognise practices that demonstrate clear and measurable results in achieving organisational goals, have been proven to meet organisational needs, have excellent design value, and clearly align with other performance improvement initiatives.
