"Rice Dumplings for the Community" Photo Sharing Campaign
Since 2000, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) has been orangising the annual charitable campaign, “Towngas Rice Dumplings for The Community”, spreading care and love to the underprivileged community through rice dumpling distribution, and promote the culinary tradition of wrapping rice dumplings during the Dragon Boat Festival..
This year, Towngas launches "Rice Dumplings for the Community” Photo Sharing Campaign to encourage public to share their rice dumpling photos on Facebook, Instagram or Towngas Mobile App. Through the campaign, Towngas will donate one rice dumpling to the needy for each photo shared.
Participation method:
Method 1
Through social media channels Facebook or Instagram
1. Upload the photo taken with your rice dumplings to your social media channel from 23 May 2016 to 7 June 2016
2. When you share the photo, tag @煤氣公司Towngas and hashtag #Towngashk #Ricedumplingsforthecommunity #socialintegration #wrappingricedumplings

Method 2
Through Towngas Mobile App
1. Download the “Towngas 煤氣公司” mobile app via
Google Play or
App Store.
2. Select “Rice Dumplings for the Community” Online Charity Campaign and press “Join Now”.
3. Upload the photo taken with your rice dumplings to the app from 23 May 2016 to 7 June 2016.
4. Fill in “Rice Dumplings for the Community Photo Sharing Campaign” for the title and “Upload a rice dumpling photo, Towngas will donate one rice dumpling to the needy” for the description.
5. Fill in the personal information to redeem a small gift given by Towngas as a token of appreciation.
6. Press “Submit” after completes all the information.
Terms & Conditions
1. This campaign is held from 23 May 2016 11:00 to 7 June 2016 23:59. Date and time will be recorded based on Towngas’ server.
2. Participants can upload more than one photo but only one gift can be redeemed by each participant.
3. The organiser reserves the right to use photos of participants in any promotion, exhibition or publishing, without getting prior consent from participants or paying any copyright fee.
4. Participants should be aware that the photos do not include copyright issue, obscene, violence, religious, political or other inappropriate content. Violation will be disqualified.
5. For any misuse or abuse of the contest that affects the operation and participants, or harm the organiser in any aspect, Towngas shall reserve the right to sue and request for compensation.
6. The rules and regulations shall be regarded as one of the terms and conditions, participants must read them carefully. Participants shall be assumed of acknowledging and agreeing with the terms and conditions once they participate in the event. Towngas reserves the right to disqualify the participants.
7. Towngas will email the letter of notification to participants for gift redemption, participants need to present the letter (original copy) and HKID upon claiming the gifts for verification. Participants fail to present the verifications will be disqualified.
8. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-returnable and non-refundable in any situation.
9. For any dispute, the organiser reserves the right on the event’s regulations, and shall not accept any complaints or negotiations with participants.
10. In the event that there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of this, the Chinese version shall prevail.
