Towngas Managing Director Alfred Chan becomes One of the World’s 100 Best-Performing CEOs
Harvard Business Review (HBR), one of the world's most influential business magazines, announced this year’s list of the Best-Performing CEOs in the World. Towngas Managing Director Alfred Chan is among one of the World’s 100 Best-Performing CEOs with a ranking of 77th and the only CEO from Hong Kong.
After receiving “Leadership Award” in “Gas Industry Award 2015” in May this year, Mr Chan is selected as one of the World’s 100 Best-Performing CEOs. His outstanding leadership will lead Towngas to reach new height in its business development.
When creating the list, HBR considered CEOs from the Standard & Poors Global 1200 Index companies and the selection criteria were based on the company’s shareholder return and the change in market capitalization. The performance on environmental protection, social responsibility and corporate governance were also taken into account.
