Towngas received "2012 Volunteers with Service Hours Exceeding 10,000 Award"

The Towngas Volunteer Service Team received yet a further “Volunteers with Service Hours exceeding 10,000 Award” from the Steering Committee of the Promotion of Volunteer Services, the Social Welfare Department on 24 October. The award was presented in recognition of our commitment to social services and care for the underprivileged.
 
Initially focused on helping the elderly, our service programmes have expanded over the years to cover underprivileged groups such as low income families, new immigrant families and people with disabilities. Last year, our Volunteer Service Team in Hong Kong contributed a total of 68,508 hours of service to the community.

Members of the Volunteer Service Team received the award.
