Less Air-con for a More Beautiful Hong Kong
Do you feel hotter and hotter? Additionally don't there seem to be more and more floods and droughts one after the other?
Doing our bit to prevent climate change, Towngas is supporting the "Hong Kong No Air-con Night" event organised by Hong Kong Green Sense. The appeal is calling on all Hong Kong’s citizens to turn their air conditioners off from 7 pm on 29 September to 7am the next morning to save energy and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. Each air conditioner consumes 0.8 to 1 kWh of electricity per hour (depending on its energy efficiency) and emits 8.4kg of carbon dioxide (for 10 hours of use per night). The more we participate, the more reductions we make.
Take action now. Join in and lower your carbons emission immediately!
