Towngas supports Sichuan relief
Right after the Sichuan earthquake on May 12, Henderson Group together with Towngas has donated HK$10 million, while Board of Directors of Towngas China allocated HK$2 million in support of subsequent relief work. Up to now, donation from employees and mainland joint ventures of the Group has reached HK$6 million. Towngas has set up a "5.12 Earthquake Relief Support Team" and volunteers from Hong Kong will arrive in Sichuan next week to support the relief logistics. Towngas is now sourcing relief materials such as 3,000 LPG appliances, 2,000 tents and other supplies to be sent to Sichuan starting from next week.

After the Sichuan earthquake, employees from our joint venture in Sichuan's Minyang has formed a volunteer team to visit the victims staying at Jiuzhou Stadium.
