Towngas joined hands with SAHK to organise "Games of Friendship"
To advocate the concept of social integration, Towngas sponsored and organised a charity activity “Games of Friendship” in cooperation with SAHK on 10 December. Stephen Sui, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare was invited to be the officiating guest for the activity.
About 500 participants took part in the activity. During the competitions, SAHK service users broke through physical barriers and demonstrated their personal potential. All participants were enthusiastic about the Games which were full of excitement and happiness. The spirit of social integration was fully embodied.
SAHK aims at providing comprehensive rehabilitation service for disabled persons. Towngas shares this mission of helping the disabled and donated HK$100,000 for purchasing sports treatment supplies to help servicer users developing their talents on sports.
Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare Stephen Sui, Towngas Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Peter Wong and SAHK Chairman Professor N. K. Leung took a group photo with SAHK service users and Towngas volunteers.
SAHK service users gave thank you cards to Towngas volunteers after the Games to express their gratitude for the volunteers’ support and participation.
