Endorsing BEC Low Carbon Charter to combat climate change
Towngas is committed to implementing sustainable business strategies and operations, and has cooperated with various organisations to reduce carbon emissions. This year, we have endorsed the Low Carbon Charter of Business Environment Council (BEC) to set targets of decarbonisation according to the Paris Agreement, demonstrating our dedication to environmental protection and partnering with other enterprises to combat climate change.
In response to the Paris Agreement, the BEC launched the Low Carbon Charter to mobilise companies and organisations from all sectors to collectively build a green future through pledging to set and achieve carbon reduction targets.
