Committed to combatting COVID-19 and protecting customers’ health

As part of our efforts to fight against COVID-19 while continuously providing quality service, we have implemented the following measures to safeguard the health of our customers and staff.
 
Customer centres and service hotline
All Towngas Customer Centres will continue to provide service, and have been treated with a nano photocatalytic long-acting disinfectant spray. Service hours for Towngas Customer Centres are 10am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays (update on 4 May). Towngas’ 24-hour Customer Service Hotline (tel: 2880 6988) will handle enquiries as usual. Customers can also seek instant support on general enquiries and make service arrangement through our eService platform  or virtual assistant.
 
Meter reading service
We have temporarily suspended our on-site meter reading service. Please report your meter reading at any time for more accurate billing.

On-site service:
We have temporarily suspended our Regular Safety Inspection service while the maintenance and checking services remain unchanged. As recommended by the Department of Health, to minimise the risk of transmitting the coronavirus disease, our company will refrain from providing service at any premises with persons under compulsory quarantine. However, customers are welcome to schedule for service appointments after the compulsory quarantine period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your understanding.

All on-site service staff are equipped with masks and protective goggles, and provided with gloves and shoe covers for use when necessary. Staff members are also required to clean their hands with alcohol-based hand-rub before and after maintenance work.
